Back in 2017, Paul and Diane Emery, who were already experienced in the Industrial Welding Gases sector, decided to expand their business by collaborating with Geoff Bone. This partnership marked the beginning of a new chapter, focusing on the sale of Welders and Welding Supplies.

What started as a modest venture quickly grew as the demand for high-quality tools and equipment surged. The first step in this growth involved transforming the 6m x 3m lunch room into a small showroom. However, with the addition of the Milwaukee Powertool range, the space quickly became overcrowded, leading Paul to make a bold decision: invest in land in Central Greymouth and build a modern, spacious store. This new store, which opened in 2023, provided ample space for the expansion of product lines and brands, allowing the business to cater to an even wider range of customers and industries.

The new store not only enhanced the customer experience but also allowed for the introduction of new products and brands, providing an even greater variety of welding supplies and power tools. The store’s spacious layout has enabled the business to meet the growing demand of industries ranging from mining and farming to forestry, engineering, construction, transport, and tradespeople of all kinds.
